The three five-story houses were built in 1897 and are located in the immediate vicinity of the SBB train station. The houses were for sale as demolition properties because the relatively large plots of land meant that a larger gross floor area than the existing one could be built. By adding an extension in the courtyard, this reserve of use could be exploited, while the old structure was preserved, thus creating beautiful family apartments at a reasonable price.
