The construction and real estate sector is responsible for almost 40% of global CO2 emissions and thus offers a major lever for achieving climate targets. As the path to resource conservation requires a transformation of the entire construction value chain and they are facing different challenges, the CBI Innovation Booster (powered by Innosuisse) would like to use the format of a roundtable and create ideas and solutions for a circular construction industry. This time, under the theme "Promoting Reuse. What do we need to make "reuse in the construction industry" the new norm?
Next Roundtable
On November 23, 2022 (2-5pm, ETH Weinbergstrasse 56/58, Zurich), Circular Hub is organizing a roundtable on behalf of CBI on "Promoting Reuse". In the reuse of products, liability, warranty and insurance issues often come up and question our understanding of ownership. What new business models and offerings do we need? How can innovation be fostered for this? In a panel discussion we would like to shed light on this topic with you and then generate ideas in a workshop format. In line with the "open innovation approach", these ideas will be further developed into concrete projects with stakeholders along the value chain.
For whom
The roundtable is aimed at implementers who already have knowledge of the circular economy and are interested in making new contacts in order to jointly identify pilot projects with stakeholders and to implement them in the future in the sense of the circular economy.
